Ever wanted to build a PC into a desk but not known where to start? Well, in this project video I'll be showing you exactly how to build a unique folding desk PC that brings LOADS of practical benefits to the table. Enjoy!
The project resources can be found exclusively on Patreon at the moment, simply for ease on my part as I'm still setting up a store. You can sign up, download it, and then cancel if you wish - it's the same price as before: patreon.com/diyperks
Big thanks to the various manufacturers for sending their stuff over for the build...

  • Help me understand something with your incredible build :) Why did you put a radiator inside the cabinet if its air tight? Won't that just heat up the air in the case? Seems redundant to me. Thanks for your great build videos.

  • I like the idea of having my pc in a small cupboard behind my desk, going to steal some of your ideas. I see you use MDF a lot. MDF is heavy! Ever had to build something we're weight matters? I was thinking about a small car trunk kitchen, aka camping box for a small car and not a land rover or heavy SUV?

  • EPDM is used because it does not allow water to evaporate through its wall as natural rubber blends do. Even in a sealed system water will evaporate.

  • Awesome - only thing I'd want is to see the pc through the table by insert a second double glazed hardened window into the actual desk top which of course would have a ultra large mouse mat semi over during usage but when used as a media system with a remote controlled keyboard will show the pc off with the table down.

  • If you still have this. The fold down desktop can also be useful for a mixed office/VR space. i.e. the desk folding down to allow more of the room to be available to the boundaries. You might want to revisit this with matching wall mounts/storage for VR hardware. Maybe see if you can come up with a nice looking DIY way of cleaning up the ceiling pully system some people use to manage the cable while playing.

  • You should be building these bespoke for people's homes, they've got to be worth a small fortune built to this standard. Your ARworlds output speaks for itself as your CV. Just a thought with people spending a lot of time in their homes these days, might as well have a productive sideline.

  • brilliant ideas, and excellent projects, but you should carry out the work in a cleaner way, in order to have impeccable finishes, starting from the painting that you can see the brush marks, or how you performed the installation for the cooling system, there will be 2000 € for the cooling system, but spending 50 € on vibration dampers would be aesthetically and mechanically a job well done, that elastic system cannot be seen, sorry for the criticisms, I certainly do not want to disrespect you or belittle your work , it wouldn't be my intention !!

    fuduzan5562fuduzan5562أشهر قبل
    • 1TB of NVmE is a ton. It's not a 7200rpm mechanic hard drive. Agree for the psu, but 1TB M.2 is definitely on the higher end. Not the biggest, but still huge
